Life Fitness recumbent bike RS3 Go: joint- and back-gentle cardio training

The Life Fitness recumbent bike RS3 Go features a first-grade workmanship and high training comfort. The sturdy frame can be loaded up to 181 kg and reaches a value which is only offered by commercial fitness equipment, in general. All components are carefully matched together increasing durability and stability. It makes the cardio training more comfortable and provides a perfect power transmission of legs to pedals.

The seat of the Life Fitness recumbent bike RS3 Go is horizontally adjustable in 13 levels. The backrest, relieving the back, is inclinable. You find the ideal sitting position for your cardio training. The backrest is breathable and provides a good ventilation. Getting on and off is much easier on the RS3 recumbent ergometer, because it has a low step through.

Life Fitness recumbent bike RS3 Go: varied and motivating

The Life Fitness recumbent bike RS3 Go has 20 resistance levels. These are set, so every fitness level can benefit from it. Increments of middle levels are finer. Here are the resistance levels, which are used by 90% of the users on the recumbent ergometer. In addition to the manual mode – due to the smart quick start function, you can start immediately – there are 13 preset workouts, of it a hill program for very quick training progress or a program, which is optimized for loosing weight.

When you want to optimize your training by pulse control, there are several options to do so. The Life Fitness recumbent bike RS3 Go offers five pulse programs. Heart rate is measured by hand pulse sensors attached on the seat or you use a chest strap, which is included in delivery. Your pulse can be read on the clear LCD display, where all other important training data are displayed as well.

RS 3 mechanisch gut, aber fehleranfällige Elektronik und überhöhte Reparaturkosten

Bike wurde vom FitShop im Mai 2021 geliefert und aufgebaut, nur privat und gering genutzt, anfänglich unzuverlässige Pulsmessung, endgültiger Defekt der Elektronik mit Reparaturkosten von mindestens 885 Euro im Juni 2024, 3 Wochen nach Ablauf der Hersteller-Garantie auf die Go-Konsole. Der Service hat auf Nachfrage 20% Rabatt für die defekte Platine angeboten, d.h. „nur“ 765 Euro für die Instandsetzung. Ich finde, das steht in keinem Verhältnis, weder zum Gesamtpreis, noch zu den mutmaßlichen Herstellungskosten des Ersatzteils. Habe leider erst im Nachhinein im WWW einige Berichte über Probleme mit der Elektronik der Go-Konsole entdeckt. Sehr schade, denn mechanisch wäre das Bike wirklich zu empfehlen. Angesichts nicht unwahrscheinlicher Folgekosten würde ich allenfalls zuraten, wenn man die kostenpflichtig angebotene maximale Garantieverlängerung mitkauft. Positiv: Die Leute vom Fitshop Augsburg haben sich freundlicherweise um eine hausinterne Lösung bemüht - leider ergebnislos. ... [Read more]

Es tut uns sehr leid, dass Ihnen nach Ablauf der zweijährigen Garantiezeit keine kostengünstigere Lösung angeboten werden konnte. Grundsätzliche Schwächen der Go-Konsole sind uns überdies nicht bekannt. Unsere Erfahrung ist, dass die Crosstrainer der Marke Life Fitness eine konstant hohe Qualität aufweisen und sogenannte Montagsgeräte seltene Ausnahmen darstellen. Wir benützen den Liegeergometer täglich und sind sehr zufrieden. Die Beschreibung für den Aufbau der mechanischen Teile war sehr gut. Die Beschreibung des elektronischen Displays ließ zu wünschen übrig. Das Gerät ist sehr stabil. Mit der Ausstattung, Ergonomie und dem Rundlauf sind wir sehr zufrieden. Man kann das Gerät ohne Strom betreiben.

leichte Montage, alles passt wie angegossen und gut geschriebene Anleitung. Angenehme Sitzposition und Sitz mit Meshgewebe, dadurch weniger Schweiß (auch wenn ich natürlich trotzdem ins Schwitzen gerate ;) )

Después de pensarlo y mirar bastante, decidimos comprar una LifeFitness, porque en nuestro gimnasio tienen varios aparatos de esta marca. Y ha sido un acierto! Acabados de mucha calidad y muy estable. La pantalla es muy sencilla de manejar, y además es muy silenciosa. Como no hace falta enchufarla para que funcione, la hemos podido colocar en un rincón, sin que moleste para nada.
